The National Airline Company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) "Etihad Airways" together with Latvian national airline company "airBaltic" will start direct flights along the route Riga – Abu Dhabi from 16 December.
According to the terms of the agreement "airBaltic" will perform four flights per week from Riga to Abu Dhabi with airplane "Airbus A319", which has 116 seats.
The president and executive director of the airline company "Etihad Airways" James Hogan explains that cooperation in the sphere of trade, culture and rest tourism between the United Arab Emirates and Latvia has never been that close as it is today.
The tickets to new flights Riga – Abu Dhabi can be purchased already now.
"airBaltic" is a joint-stock company that was established in 1995. Its main shareholder is the state of Latvia owning 99.8% shares thereof.
"airBaltic" in cooperation with "Etihad Airways" will ensure flights to Abu Dhabi
